We wanted to take this time first and foremost to extend a thank you to Onar Primitivo whom has been kind enough to chair and lead our committee over the last two years. Thank you Onar for your dedication and hardwork with CACSW.
With that said, Onar is stepping down and Jen Quiralte and myself will continue over the next year to co-chair the UC Merced Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women. We are hoping to hit the ground running with increased membership, programs and services and sponsorships here at UC Merced. As the committee continues to evolve with your creativity and commitment, we can use our collective abilities to promote effective and purposeful change here at UC Merced.
Please join us for the April meeting to learn more about the direction of the committee and how you can participate. We welcome your suggestions and encourage everyone to attend.
