The Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CACSW) seeks individuals who are interested in serving on its committee for the 2017-2018 year in the following positions:
- Faculty representative - Chair
- Staff representative - Co-Chair
- Staff Assembly liaison
- Postdoctoral scholar
- Other members as deemed necessary by the general membership
The committee’s designated officers are required to attend meetings held once a month during the academic year as well as additional events or programs sponsored by CACSW.
Applicants must submit a one-page personal statement that includes their name, the position to which they are applying and a summary of their qualifications. CACSW will review all applications and forward two finalists for each position to Chancellor Dorothy Leland, who will make the final selections. Appointment letters will be sent to those chosen.
